Western deals in a vast range of products both for the local as well as cross border markets. The differential advantage of working with us is our strong followup and ability to micro manage matters thereby resulting in ultimate supplier’s as well as customer’s satisfaction. We work both for suppliers as well as customers and try to strike balance between the two. We also believe in the concept of after sales service and support and endeavor to make strong relationships both with our suppliers and customers rather than one off trade.
Following is brief detail of products that we deal in:-
1- Yarns
We deal in a wide variety of yarns composed of 100% Cotton as well as synthetics including cotton, polyester, poly cotton blends, viscose, Tencel, modal, bamboo, etc. Our customers demand for both knitting as well as weaving yarns, fine as well as coarser counts, made on Ring Spun, Murata Vortex Spinning (MVS) and Open End (OE) spinning systems. We believe in marketing orientation rather than product orientation meaning that we source specific yarns in required quantities and desired timelines which our customers demand. Some of our customers also buy special yarns including slubs, neppy yarns, regular as well as irregular, depending on our customers’ specific requirements. We regularly sell:
- Cotton Carded and Combed yarns, produced both on Compact as well as Conventional Spinning systems.
- Yarns made from Extra long Staple Cotton including Supima, Giza (Egyptian), CIS, etc.
- Plied yarns including 2 Ply (double), 3 Ply, etc.
- Slub yarns
- Core Spun yarns made from Spandex (unbranded) as well as Branded (Invista’s Lycra) materials
- Siro yarns (yarns made from double roving)
- Organic and Recycled yarns
- Regenerated yarns including Tencel, modal viscose, bamboo and other related fibers.
- 100% Polyester (PP) yarns
- Different blended yarns composed of acrylic, rayon, etc.
- Linen (flax) and hemp yarns
2- Fabrics
Our exclusivity with Naveena Industries Limited is for pocketing fabric majorly under nomination programs for top brands including Levi’s, Zara, H&M, Esprit, etc but apart from pocketing we also sell 100% cotton as well as Poly Cotton blended Greige fabrics made on air jet looms. We get fabric demands both from home textile as well as apparel related customers. We sell range from basic to higher thread counts fabric articles, from T200 to T800 meant for high fashion apparel, formal, casual, home textile and work wear. At times we get demand for Fire Retardant (FR) fabrics also and source from a few specialized air jet weaving mills but this development is new and to the extent of sampling only. Fabrics are usually composed of yarns made from Pak Cotton but at times from Supima, Giza, Organic and Recycled products. Fabric demands come in plain as well as twill weaves including Satin and Stripe Sartins, Percales, Poplin and sheeting, Canvas Duck and Half Panama, Twills and drills both in rigid as well as stretch. These days we are also getting demands of mechanical stretch fabrics and new product items which can be categorised as non traditional and special items.
3- Specialty Items
Specialty items mean less commonly used items which are sourced from specialized manufacturers rather than generic bulk producers. Our principal (yarn spinner) ie Intercot produces 100% linen (both natural and bleached) yarns as well as Cotton Linen blends. They also launched hemp Cotton blended yarns but this product is still into R&D and not launched in bulk. Its a new product development and in the sampling stage. We are regularly selling Intercot’s natural linen yarns to Sapphire Group, the market leader in Pakistan’s textile’s sector.
Moreover, our US based principal QST (Quick Service Textiles) produces Q-Loop (anti fray) for belt loop fusing along with other special products including Ban Roll, Sonic Sealed, Quick Stretch, etc. They make items for high fashion wear as well as branded garments and the purpose is to add value to woven as well as knitted garments. Our local, loyal customers of QST’s products include US Apparel, Crescent Bahuman Limited (CBL), CottonWeb, Sapphire, Diamond, Stylers, Nishat, etc. We source QST items from Mexico, USA, China, Vietnam as well as Hong Kong.
4- Construction
Our new venture exists with the name and style of Western Builders. This division of our business is being looked after by Mrs Asma Amin, Director of Western Group. We build houses in posh areas of Lahore including Bahria Town and aim is to make it in DHA soon. Idea was to diversify beyond textiles and move into a venture with safe investments.
